Biffi was a staunchly-conservative Catholic and, from some reports, a nationalist who opposed immigration. He also was not a proponent of contemporary sexuality expression. In 2000 he declared that the anti-Christ was a renowned philalthropist, vegan and pacifist who supported ecumenism. Must have been nice being a direct conduit to the Almighty.
