ALS - Autograph Letter Signed: on folded sheet, one and one-half page, Bourges, 16 January 1843. Beautiful fraternal letter from Dupont to Father Lucien Boullanger (1803-73) a subordinate of the cardinal. (Not to be confused with Lucien Boulanger, chief of detectives, Paris). Written shortly  after his appointment as parish priest of Epinal.  In part reads: You will do good there. You are therefore in a special position: the good Lord will grant you the health you need to carry out His work. I pray to Him to attach his most abundant consolations on your ministry. Epinal is a vast field...
