TLS - Typewritten Letter Signed, one page, 1946, as apostolic nuncio to Belgium.  Addressed to the provincial of the Scalabrinians.  References an invitation to commemorate the feastday of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini.
 
Appointed nuncio to Venezuela. Went on to serve as papal diplomat in Peru. Special Envoy to the inauguration of Manuel Prado y Ugarteche as President of Peru. Remained in Latin America until he was appointed nuncio in Belgium and Luxembourg. Served as Special Envoy to the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. One of his many roles was reporting on the practice of indulgences, a report not favorably received by many of Vatican Council II.
