DS - Document Signed, January 2020, to mark the golden jubilee of Italian bishop John Rossi. Bears the striking blind-embossed seal of Francis. Accompanied by a handsome black and white giclee image.
 
NOTA BENE:  This document is a true anomaly. After conducting extensive research, we can find no Catholic bishop named Giovanni (John) Rossi or who was celebrating 50 years as a bishop. A most puzzling example. We are 100% convinced that this signed papal document is authentic: it bears the watermark of The Holy See and the blind-embossed papal seal. The heraldic coat of arms of Francis was produced in full metallic embossed color. In every respect, other than the name of John Rossi, this document is flawless and in perfect condition. Could this be proof that the pope is not infallible in all matters or was this a clerical error by one of his secretaries?  Who can say? We are selling this AS IS with no other authentication.
 
Official letters and documents signed by Francis are somewhat uncommon.
