Father Gannon was the president of Fordham University and a celebrated author. It was my privilege to spend two hours in his company in 1970 at the Jesuit Retreat House, Inisfada, Manhasset, L.I.  He regaled me with many stories, most of which cannot be repeated. What an honor.
