ALS - Autograph Letter Signed, one page, with integral address panel (and intact red wax seal). Dated 17 November 1831 just months after being named a cardinal. Addressed to Count Jean-Gabriel Caccia - Milan-born banker based in Paris. In 1831 he managed the financial firm of Caccia et Cie and was known for correspondence with many European leaders regarding impacts of the 1830 Belgian Revolution.
Lambruschini apologizes for the delay due to the man commitments following his promotion to cardinal.
Although only 55 at the time of this letter, his handwriting reflects significant depression and exhaustion.
