Prior General of the Order of Saint Augustine. The late Pope Francis named him president of the Pontifical Commission for Latin America.
 
SP - Signed Photograph: large color litho-print poster (12"x16.25" bearing a facsimile signature at the bottom. To the right corner of the same poster, in black marker pen, Pope Leo has hurriedly penned Leo XIV in black marker pen.
 
Provenance. The poster was signed in-person at a General Audience in January. We have a statement from the young lady who acquired the autographed poster. In part, her statement reads:  ...I attended the general audience of Pope Leo XIV, held on January 14, 2026 in the Pope Paul VI Hall of the Vatican, immediately after the audience. The Pope personally greeted some people in the front rows and then approached the corner where I was standing, to bless some elderly people I was accompanying. When the pope was a short distance from me (only the barriers separated us) I saw him signing a small statue so I showed him the power with his image that I had purchased the day before the audience in a bookstore in Rome. He very kindly signed his name in the lower right corner with the same marker he had used to sign the statue shortly before....
