Papal Breve - 27 Augustu 1790 - addressed to Archbishop Filippo Sardi (1736-1826) of Lucca, granting the order of deacon on Antonio Bonamici (an important Italian name). Signed on behalf of the pope by his nephew, Cardinal Romoaldo Braschi-Onesti, a great prior of the Sovereign Order of Malta. On vellum measure 16"x8" with blind-embossed paper and wax seal on reverse.  Usual folds and very light toning; overall very good to fine.
