LS – Letter Signed – two pages with address panel, 24 April 1837, written as Pro-Legate in Ravenna. Addressed to the Prior of the Community of Bologna-Molinella. Untranslated Italian but appears to deal with municipal matters.
Vannicelli-Casoni held numerous posts: Referendary of the Tribunal of the Apostolic Signature of Justice and Grace; Consultor of the Congregation of Bishops and Regulars; Vice-commissary of the four legations; Pro-governor of Rome; Governor of Rome; vice-camerlengo of the Church and director general of police. In his final years he served as Pro-datary of the pope.
